Smiths High Performance has bespoke supply packages in place for a wide range of motorsport customers. All our supply packages are produced to meet your requirements. You will find below a working example of a tailored supply solution which is currently in place for a customer who provides fabricated parts in the motorsport sector.

A 'real-life' example

  • Original bonded stores and non-bonded stores area removed, with Smiths High Performance effectively becoming the companies dedicated material store
  • Costs of saw maintenance, stores maintenance, saw blades and scrap removed
  • Material delivered direct to line-side and then booked in using our barcoding system
  • Interfacing with SHP's business system allows the customer to view stock, test certificates, incoming purchase orders and place their purchase orders - ALL using their own, unique part numbers

Since the original implementation, the customer has confirmed that this bespoke supply package has already saved the company £1.2 million per annum.
